Philip Dunwoody serves as Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness and is a Professor of Psychology at Juniata College.
My mission to cultivate individual and collective wellbeing. As a higher education professional, I use my voice to promote evidence-based approaches to inclusive excellence and human thriving in our personal, public, and professional lives.
I consult and lead workshops on burnout and wellbeing, organizational thriving, equity, and assessment. Contact me for more information.
As Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness, I leverage institutional data to advocate for institutional improvement. I oversee general education and advising, lead institution-wide assessment, oversee accreditation standards and compliance, manages institutional surveys and data, and support evidence-based decision making and planning across the institution.
As a Professor of Psychology, I research risk factors that undermine peaceful and pluralistic democracy. These risk factors include authoritarian ideology, perceptions of "others" as threatening, and adoption of conspiracy-oriented propaganda (see Google Scholar).
